BIG bad lizards :)
Well, this week we headed over to Busch Gardens in Tampa. They have some WONDERFUL reptile exhibits. The american alligators were so amazing. I've worked with babies..as the one below in my hand..and the adults just amazed me..the largest looked to be around 15 feet long. I loved the Sliders just cruising along on the backs of the gators. There were also the smaller caimens (spelling?) and the snake exhibits. Unfortunately those pictures didn't come out that well..so below are teh few that did. They had the western set up of various rat snakes. Albino corns, striped rat snakes..and ocatee(spelling) dark orange and brown corns. There were gila monsters, monitors and frogs also.

Below also is our house gecko. H'es been hanging around our porchlight for sometime, and yesterday he ended up IN the house and went behnd our stereo and tv center when we came in. My husband and i tore everything apart and caught him. AS you can see he's VERY thin. I am not going to catch adn keep him, but does anyone know of some food i could put out that might help him? Like i could mount a tiny shelf into my wall outside and put maybe bugs in there..?

so cute..to WOW looka t this handsome fellow!

This guy looks like he is laughing! This si going to be made into an LOL icon.

See? He's SOOO skinny!

Awesome pics! Alligators and crocodiles are my favorite animals. Those gators are huge!

We have several wild house geckos running around our house. We see them occassionally.. Normally we find them outside, but we have so many escaped crickets inside that I guess it's better hunting!!

But yes, crickets and ants are bugs I've seen them eat.

Just a thought, but the house gecko you caught looks like he has a few stuck sheds on his toes? You may want to do him a favor and try and get those off :] I'm not familiar with house geckos though, but he's adorable n.n
And sweet pictures!
